Qualification & Experience

LLB / JD from a reputable local or foreign institution/university recognized by the Higher Education of Pakistan with at least 6 years of experience in carrying out/ dealing with regulatory affairs in a reputable organization. Candidates with relevant postgraduate degree and experience in the oil and gas industry would be given preference.

Legal Counsel

Qualification & Experience

LLB from a local or aboard institution/university recognized by the Higher Education of Pakistan with at least 4 years of experience in corporate and commercial law in a reputable organization or law firm. Candidates with a postgraduate degree in law, such as LLM/Bar-at-law/solicitor would be preferred.

Job Responsibility

The person in this position is responsible for the drafting and negotiation of contracts with governments and private parties, as well as giving legal advice to managers at each stage of business to protect their interests.

Quantitative Interpretation Geoscientist

Qualification & Experience

Master’s or bachelor’s degree in geophysics, geology or related discipline from a local or foreign institution/university recognized by the Higher Education of Pakistan with at least 5 years of hands-on-experience in rock physics interpretation and modelling with an oil and gas company. The preference would go to candidates with an advanced degree in rock physics modeling.

Job Responsibility

This position will be responsible for AVO analyses and seismic inversion application software, including Interactive Petrophysics (IP), Powerlog RokDoc Techlog Hampson-Russell Hampson-Russell. As part of a multidisciplinary group, the position holder is responsible for delivering E&P project in quantitative interpretation using rock physics diagnosis/and modelling, seismic inversion and uncertainty quantification.

• Using seismic inversion and petrophysical analysis to integrate core data.
• Work effectively with internal project teams and establish workflows that are fit for purpose to ensure seismic quality within the given timeframes.
• Able to assist and support geoscientists (reservoir engineers), geomechanics (geomechanics) to optimize workflows.
• Ability to support seismic interpreters by providing amplitude, frequency/or phases anomalies that are associated with changes including porosity and lithology.
• Able to assist rock physics teams to generate porepressure prediction and 3D Mechanical Earth Model from geophysical (seismic data).
• Built on information from well log data, surface seismic and geologic interpretations, the model can be used to construct velocity and structural models.

Candidates with experience in the oil and gas sector, especially areas such as budgeting, joint venture financing, financial reporting, and insurance, would be preferred.

Candidates with experience in Medicine, Surgery and Gynaecology/ Obstetrics/Pediatrics would be preferred. PMDC registration is required.
